Sustainability

Sustainability actions and education are central to life at Florida Tech and to our partners on the Space Coast of Florida.  Florida Tech has been recognized in the Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges for the last six years.  With the achievement of many diverse credits for Academics, Operations, and other metrics, we have also achieved a STARS Silver Rating for campus and community sustainability actions, details are in our latest STARS Report

Many aspects of the Florida Tech sustainability program are associated with our long-standing University Sustainability Council, with over 40 members representing students, staff and faculty.  The University Strategic Plan refers to sustainability in several sections, reflecting the array of approaches we use to advance innovation.

As a Tier One Best National University and one of NASA’s earliest partners, we work to reimagine and redesign more sustainable living, learning, and working spaces.   Visit the Academics or Campus & Community links above to learn more.

Our Jobs and Careers link above has dozens of SUS-related job sites with diverse career opportunities. Check out other website pages and the University Sustainability Guide to learn more about how you can be a part of these innovations on our campus and beyond.
